Ad sense flooding

Don’t you think its annoying that everywhere you go in the internet, people put adsense on their pages, hoping to get money from Google through clicks. not only that people write program to rediret your search through their sites by generating google like result, but when you click , here you go the adsense.

It makes the internet a boring place, yes you can ignore the ad sense but I have to say, just annoying and dumb.

How many people really makes money on it ? but “greedy” is the game.

Soon or later the flooding of adsense will make no sense and become pollution.

dumb investors

An invstor who does not understand the economics of specific companies should periodically invest in an index fund, knowing nothing investor can outperform most of investment professionals.

The above is the view point of Mr. Buffett, in short “dumb investors” acknowledge their limitations, dumb ceases to be dumb.

In old Chinese wisdom, three dumb guys can defeat a wise man. If you believe it, you are dumb. Do you want to be dumb ?, may not be a bad idea.

Definition of “leader”

The word “leader” used by news or magazines tends to be used to lure people for Ad purpose, also in reality people would like to project themself as some kind of  ”leader” and enjoy that form of satisfaction.

A lot of case, we tend to think leaders have visions, they can see future a lot of people can not see. In reality, most of the leaders don’t have visions, they are just like any normal person, the difference is they have more confidence on the outcome of uncertainties. 

People create leaders out of the shortcoming of their own confidence. We would like others to make decisions for us, so that we can blame on them if things go wrong.

Leaders can be selfish, and unkind, the society will torlerate them if somehow they make a fortune. Only the spiritual leader will torlerate weakness and worthless, and “seek you shall find”.

We define the spiritual leader as “God”.  

 The seeking effort is to answer the question, who am I ?, what I can do in this life ?

Create a history in America

It is the time that America should have a female president in the history, Hillary Clinton is the right person to be that history. She shows the skills and knowledges, much better than Bush, I guess you can say anybody is better than Bush.

Even her husband left her the personal affairs scandal in the America presidency history ( probably will be mentioned in every text book in the generations to come, and TV shows like Jeopardy!), but she was able to handle it well and come back to create her own history.

In most of culture outside America, she will never have a chance to come back. So great Americans, create your history – elect your first female president, and inspire all females in the world. 

Stock market after olympic

There is a theory that China stock market will crash after olympic game, the main thinking behind it, is Chinese government put so much efforts in olympic game to show off the world that China is a powerful country, a lot of “face” issues. They will keep the market float until after olympic game.

After that a major slow down on money investment in public construction, such as transportations, roads, and housing.

Also, the shaky financial system in China already creates a bubble, people lost rational thinkings, keep driving up the bubble. Soon or later something going to trigger the market meltdown. China will experience what America has been through. A major correction so that a new system can come up.

iPod Docking station

I already have a home stereo system with Bose, but that was before iPod was invented.

At home I really need to hook up iPod to my bedroom stereo to enjoy my music collections or listen to audio books. I don’t need to buy another speakers that can plug in iPod, so my choice is to buy an iPod docking station, (sound familiar ?, yes laptop docking station for lazy people who don’t want to deal with wires).

So I brought the iPod docking station from www.soundcelo.com, pretty handy, it has a remote control too. Maybe in the future people will come out a docking station with screen that can display pictures from iPod.

 

Participation

I overheard a school teacher told her 6th grade student, ” you need to be more participate, you are smart, I have no doubt you have the knowledge, participation is not a ”show-off” things, or get attention on purpose, it is to share your knowledge with others”.

I have to say in my background, I was not educated to “raise” my hands, I was not educated to share knowledge, I was educated to be “smart”, sometime keep quite is a smart thing, because only stupids or know nothing raise their hands.

Dam, I need to bark, I was educated in a wrong way.  

Credit Crisis

I think most of the people don’t really quite understand how the credit losses from mortgage got so out of control. In order for the mortgage to fail, you need to have a lot of people can not afford to pay mortgage. Are we talking about millions of people could not pay mortgage  or few thousands ? or simply the emotion of investors dumping stocks that relate to estate ?

How could bank so blindly gave credits to people who can not afford to buy house ? and why people who can not afford to buy house want to gamble his/her life with the risk of becoming homeless ?

Or the capital system of America simply failed to educate people ? so something wrong with America school system ?

ETrade panic

Etrade is one of the leading name for online trading, a lot of people like it especially in California.  I got account in etrade.

However today the bankrupt rumors hit me, now I am starting to worry my account, the fact is most of the trading accounts are not FDIC insured. What exactly will affect etrade acocunt owners ? are we going to lose our assets ?
